We met refugee children at UNRWA Camp in Wihdat
On our path to reach all children around the world, we gained new experience with our field work with Palestinian children living at a refugee camp. On the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Turkey and Jordan, and with the support of Turkish Embassy in Amman, Kibar Holding and Turkish Airlines, we held a 1-week field work with refugee children to help them discover their social identities and look more confidently to the future.
On April 15-23, we held workshops on dance, photography, invention, short film, music, painting and sports with Palestinian children aged between 7 and 13 years old, who were attending three schools in the camp. We concluded our activities with the performance of children to celebrate the National Holiday of Children on April 23, with 350 children who improved their social skills at workshops. Famous photographer Mustafa Seven also took pictures of the camp and our workshop activities during our field work.
